    Hi,

Really nice product, just a question:
Is it possible to have the iphone connected to the cable but leave it outside the compartment? So that I can listen to a podcast and at the same time have Google maps viewable?

I drive a defender td5 and wonder if the rki8400 will function in this kind of car.. My current stereo sometimes just quits while driving in bumby roads. And I’m not talking about off-road.

I too would like to connect via usb cable direct or the line-in direct cable without having to store the iPhone in the compartment so I can connect the iPhone to the soon-to-be-released TomTom iPhone car-kit for navigation.
ALso, will it fit straingth into the stereo bay of a 2001 Audi S4 (the B5 series 2.7, twin-turbo model)?

Why was the price changed from $279 which was a good price to $399?
This looks like a great system, and I would have been willing to pay a bit more that $279 to be honest, but such a dramatic price change makes me want to look at other alternatives..
Thankfully the MKi9200 is still withing my price range.

Yes really nice, three questions that I can’t find the answer to:
    – What color lights up the buttons at night (red, white, or green)?
    – Is the dual microphone wireless?
    – Can any USB flash disk by used or must it have “MP3-player functionality”?

    Thanks!
