“Get wired with new iPod kit
If your car doesn’t have an iPod connection, this new Parrot kit is a great solution. The MKi9200 not only allows you to relay your MP3 player’s digital music via the speakers, but also adds a built-in hands-free kit.

This piece of kit certainly is a step in the right direction for an add-on iPod dock. Instead of messing around with FM frequencies so you can play the iPod, the unit just works in the same manner as those under-dash car cassette and 8-track tape players that were a “must-have” through the 70s where they played through a separate pair of speakers.
These units were even able to be set up so that they could play the existing radio through the tape player’s speakers yet the moment you pushed the tape in to the tape player’s slot, the music that was on the tape came out of the player’s speakers. It was just so easy then! Why can’t it be as easy as that now!
